well after our first ever thirty day hiatus from the band. We're back at it this week and starting pre-production for the new album (our fifth, for those who are counting). We're going to call it TARIYAKI Bitch Slap (or something like that) and, as you might have guessed from the title, its very much in the vibe of our Karaoke Bitch Slap album that we put out in 2004. heavy slow sludge with some classic stoner riffs and a bit of doom-inspired stuff... and maybe a little wah if the 9Volts arent dead. I was hoping we'd get some flute in there too.... so consider this an APB to Blood Ceremony and their lovely flutist.... wanna rock out on a magma tune or two on our new CD?

This thing should be recorded and released sometime this summer (I think thats the plan).... so that means it'll most likely come out in the fall LOL!!

should have some new artwork posted real soon. and yes there will be more hot electric magma babes included.

Teriyaki Bitch Slap? I thought it was Teriyaki Bitch Sauce! Nah, but I actually think that sounds better, and somewhat less recycled, ya know?

Are there gonna be any guest vocal appearances, like on Coconut Bangers' Ball?

hell ya we'd love to have some vocals on the album. Its all a matter of timing. as it stands we're just going to plow ahead with the album as an instro release but if the right dude happens to show up at the right time in the studio... we'd be happy to hand him/her/it a mic. but I'll be the first to admit that too often I sing a little song in my head:

"Careful with that mic weezy. Do you really think its that easy."

Haha, nice. Well, I'm looking forward to it, in any case.
