Just heard the rough mixes of the debut 5 song Keef ep. We're just finishing up the tracking now. This band sounds nice and sludgy and should be a good addition to the stoner rock community here in T.O.
We'll let ya know when the disc is ready for sale. Tim from Electric Magma is recording and engineering the CD. We invaded the magma rehearsal studio and banged off 5 songs in one night. Just have to do a few overdubs and lay some vocals and this sucker will be good to go. Wait til you hear alain daigle on the drums.... this dude SMOKES the kit and I was very happy to finally be able to record with him on this project... a little history on alain... he used to play drums with electric magma a while back he filled in for a number of shows and wrote Workin the Red Eye with us last year. Other members of keef are Rich on guitar greg on vocals and yours truly on bass. We'll keep ya posted on upcoming Keef news

Right on. I figured that since Tryg was the one posting about Keef, you probably weren't coming around here anymore. Have you checked out that Pagan Altar, yet? I might play some on my show next week, if you're gonna be listening...

Vocals were tracked last night amid gallons of beer. this ep is gonna sound like a trip on a time machine to 1968. I dig the vibe. very old school production.
